The multi-award winning Heath Quartet is a UK-based quartet with a strong international presence. Their playing is thrilling: boldly expressive, heady and intimate. The Heath Quartet are active collaborators with some of the world’s most important new music composers and will perform a program that includes a work by the British composer Michael Tippett. As part of the Quartet’s engagement with Meany Center, they will conduct a residency in Seattle public schools to explore how chamber music can be a catalyst for creativity.
