Meany Hall – Katharyn Alvord Gerlich Theater

A gala benefitting the artistic and educational programming of Meany Center

Held, literally, on the stage of Meany Hall, Center Stage is a fundraiser to benefit our artistic and educational programming; a thank you to our friends, who receive an exclusive preview of the 2019-2020 Season before it is announced to the general public; and an opportunity to tell the story of Meany Center, the community that supports us and the artists who inspire us.

Like any good gala, ours will have plenty of fine wine and great food; a short live auction; and, of course, the highly anticipated sneak peek at our next season. But since Performing Arts is in our name, it wouldn’t be a Meany Center gala without actual performances.

This year, you can look forward to a performance by homegrown heroes The Westerlies—a brass quartet based in New York, but with its roots in Garfield High School.

This will be our sixth gala, and we’ll have a high bar to cleareach previous Center Stage has been more successful than the one before! For that, we have only you to thank.

Invitations will be going out in January. We hope you’ll join us at Center Stage in March, but even if you can’t, please know how much we appreciate your support of everything we do. You make a world of difference!
