From Stage to Screen: The Show WILL Go On!

Although the Meany Stage is dark right now, Meany Center’s mission to support artists and engage audiences continues. The show WILL go on through our digital platform, Meany On Screen.

Nothing can replace a live performance of course, and Meany On Screen doesn’t mean to try. Instead, we aim to give you an experience tailored to what online does best: allowing you access to the art and the artists in ways that would be impossible in Meany Hall.

Each of the events scheduled for this fall will include the featured performance (available for viewing for one week) and a conversation between Meany Center artistic director Michelle Witt and the artist about their creative process.

Performances and artist talks can be watched from the comfort of your own home, in your own time. Best of all, you can keep your cell phones on, and unwrap all the hard candies you like!
