About Ballo Conservatio: Dance Conservation
Photographer Steve Korn and choreographer Joseph Blake worked with professional dancers to create powerful visual moments of human interaction with renewable and finite resources, such as paper, water, oil and earth. The series raises issues of sustainability and encourages recycling, human involvement with nature, and cultivates awareness of our planet earth as home.
Ballo Conservatio began in 2016 through a generous grant from the University of Washington Campus Sustainability Fund.
