Ticket FAQs

Are ticket prices always the same?

With Meany Center's Plan Ahead Pricing, single ticket prices may increase based on market demand. We recommend ordering early for the best selection of seating at the best prices.

To ensure events are accessible to more people, every performance, except An Evening with Yo-Yo Ma, now includes a limited number of $25 tickets in Zone 4 that can be purchased when single tickets go on sale.

Can I exchange my ticket?

Yes, you can!

  • Exchanges are FREE for subscribers, including any extra tickets added to a subscription package. Subscribers to the 2025–26 season can begin making exchanges on July 29, 2025.

  • For non-subscribers, the exchange fee is $12 per ticket and $3 per UW student ticket.

All exchanges must be made before show time on the day of your ticketed performance.

If your new tickets cost more, you’ll be charged the difference. If they cost less, the difference is not refunded.

To exchange tickets, contact the ArtsUW Ticket Office at ticket@uw.edu or call 206-543-4880. Please have your ticket numbers handy — they’re located in the upper left corner of your ticket.

When will I receive my tickets?

Does Meany Center sell tickets on other sites?

Tickets to Meany Center events are available only through our official website, meanycenter.org, and the ArtsUW website at tickets.artsevents.washington.edu.

We’ve seen a rise in ticket resellers over the past year. To avoid overpaying or buying invalid tickets, always make sure you're on one of these official sites. Double-check the web address before you purchase — if it’s not meanycenter.org or tickets.artsevents.washington.edu, it’s not us.

For more information, read the Ticket Resellers Alert.

Is there a limit on the number of tickets I can purchase?

Online, there is a limit of nine (9) tickets per person/household or one (1) UW Student ticket per UW Student ID, except for specific special events (see below).

Free Youth Tickets to Piano and Chamber Music events for youths aged 5-17 are limited to four (4) tickets per order.

Groups of ten (10) or more receive a 10% discount off current regular-priced single tickets in Zones 2 and 3. In addition, the group organizer will receive one free ticket with purchases of over ten (10) tickets at the Group price. To arrange a Group sale, contact the ArtsUW Ticket Office by phone at 206-543-4880. Group sales are not available for An Evening with Yo-Yo Ma.

Orders over the limit may be canceled without notice. Orders associated with known or suspected resellers may be canceled without notice.
