Get Authentic Tickets for Meany Center Events

Meanycenter.org is the authorized ticket seller for Meany Center events. ALWAYS make sure to purchase directly from meanycenter.org or tickets.artsevents.washington.edu and to look carefully at the URL of any ticket purchasing site.

Over the past year Meany Center has seen an increase in activity by ticket resellers. In some cases, third party sites snap up less expensive tickets and sell them for a profit, and in others, they sometimes sell invalid tickets that are fraudulent and not vaild for admission.

We want everyone to enjoy our programs, for the best price available and with the best customer service. This means buying tickets directly from our ArtsUW Ticket Office, as we do not authorize the selling of any of our tickets through third party vendors (with the exception of Goldstar).

To help you avoid ticketing schemes, we recommend you:

1) check your URL when buying tickets online to confirm that you are on the ArtUW Ticket website tickets.artsevents.washington.edu or the Meany Center website meanycenter.org.

2) Avoid resale sites such as Event Tickets Center, Big Stub, Vivid Seats and Seattle Theatre.

3) Make sure that the section and seat number on the tickets you are purchasing actually match Meany Hall's seating chart.

4) Never send money via wire transfer or sign up for a credit card. If you are asked to do this while purchasing tickets you are dealing with an unauthorized ticket broker.

If you think you’ve been scammed by a ticket reseller, we encourage you to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
