Inspiring the Next Generation of Creative Thinkers
The arts help students make intellectual leaps, forge interdisciplinary connections, understand multiple perspectives and adapt to rapid change. Meany Center supports creativity in UW students and faculty by:
- Bringing visiting artists into the classroom to connect performances, creative practice and creative research with a wide range of courses
- Facilitating performance opportunities and collaborations with visiting artists
- Offering free and reduced tickets to performances. $10 UW student tickets are available for all Meany Center performances, and free tickets are available through Arts of Course, which supports faculty in integrating performances into their courses.
If you are a UW educator and would like information on Arts of Course, please contact Elizabeth Duffell at eduffell@uw.edu.
