ABOUT THE PROJECT

During her residency, Mia worked on her play, Untitled Measurement Play.

Ed, Nidia, and Ryan—three seniors at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)—prepare to find their places in post-college life. With all the privilege of youth, education and top-notch brainpower (and the customary angst and anxiety as well), they weigh personal decisions about what they value, who they are, and who they want to become. The play looks at the powerful utilities of measurement—data collection, calculation and analysis—as well as its profound limits.
