Pianist Mahani Teave in Conversation with Michelle Witt
Mahani Teave, a classical pianist from Easter Island, discusses her unique journey from discovering the piano on the remote island to studying internationally in Cleveland, Chile, and Berlin. She speaks about her decision to return home and co-found the Toki School of Music, a non-profit institution built on principles of environmental sustainability. She also describes the musical program she has prepared for her performance at Meany Center.
