Hailed as “a master of visual composition” by Dance Magazine, Jessica Lang, the recipient of a 2014 Bessie Award, seamlessly incorporates striking design elements and transforms classical ballet language into artfully crafted, emotionally engaging contemporary works. Among the pieces performed will be Tesseracts of Time, created in collaboration with internationally recognized architect, Washington native and UW alumnus Steven Holl. Also on the program for Veteran’s Day weekend is Thousand Yard Stare, set to Beethoven’s late String Quartet No. 15, Op. 132, honoring wounded veterans and those affected by war.

TRAFFIC ALERT
On Saturday, November 12, patrons should expect traffic congestion and delays entering the University District due to a Husky football game, which is expected to end at approximately 7:30pm. Ample Central Parking Garage spaces will be available for a $10 event fee for Jessica Lang Dance performance patrons.
