Hailed as "the future of chamber music" (Strings), Brooklyn Rider explores the healing properties of music in a unique Meany Center program. The slow movement of Beethoven's Opus 132 is among the most profound expressions of healing in the string quartet repertoire. This masterwork is presented alongside four new commissions that look at the subject of healing from historical and cultural perspectives.
Four classical musicians performing with the energy of young rock stars.
