Call for Singers
Feb 06 — Feb 08Meany Center for the Performing Arts is partnering with Native performing artists / ensembles and UW students to provide the “sound tapestry” for Inuk throat singer Tanya Tagaq’s Retribution program at UW’s Meany Hall on Friday, February 8 at 8pm.
Rehearsals will take place in the evening on Wednesday and Thursday, February 6-7, at Meany Hall on the UW campus.
Artists will receive a modest honorarium, refreshments at rehearsals and the performance, plus complimentary tickets. Parking for rehearsals and performances will be provided.
Singing experience is not necessary, but performance experience is preferred.
Seeking a diversity of voices, genders, ages (16 and up) and nations.
