RESCHEDULED — Ephrat Asherie Workshop for Dancers

This event has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 31 from 1:15 - 2:45 p.m. in the Meany Hall in the Department of Dance, Studio 267. Registration is required and space is limited. Reserve your spot.

In this high energy workshop for intermediate - advanced level dancers, students will learn fundamentals of house, including aspects of footwork, floorwork and the importance of a freestyle approach to the dance. Discussions anchored in the cultural context in which this dance was created and where it continues to thrive will be an essential part of our movement dialogue throughout the class. Comfy and easy-to-move-in clothes are recommended.  Get ready to enjoy the music, shake-a-leg and connect to one another! 

Please wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothes you can move in.
