Step into the surreal world of MOMIX, where the human form and inanimate objects merge to create breathtaking illusions.
Led by Adam Ross, this masterclass offers a rare glimpse into the company’s creative process, functioning as part physical conditioning and part choreographic laboratory.
The class begins with a floor warm-up, followed by center work with guided improvisation across the floor that leads to developing the Rabbit character from ALICE.
The class concludes with a Q&A and photo opportunity. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
About the Instructor:
ADAM ROSS began dancing at a young age in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he trained and competed in regional and national competitions along the East Coast. As a teenager, he attended the Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, focusing on ballet and modern dance.
Adam earned his BFA in Contemporary Dance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2023, performing repertory by Paul Taylor, Erick Hawkins, Martha Graham, Murray Louis, and Gabrielle Lamb, alongside original works by Conservatory faculty and peers. His training also includes workshops and intensives with Point Park University, Milwaukee Ballet, RUBBERBANDance Group, and CoMotion.
Since joining MOMIX in 2022, he has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad.
