The world-renowned Cuarteto Latinoamericano has been on a mission to present great works of the Latin American chamber repertoire since its founding in Mexico in 1982. In this beautiful virtual performance, Cuarteto Latinoamericano features three Latin American musical luminaries: composers Gabriela Ortiz, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Alberto Ginastera. Winner of two Latin Grammys for Best Classical Recordings and Chamber Music America/ASCAP’s “Most Adventurous Programming” Award, the string quartet represents a unique voice in the international arena of classical music.

Members of this ensemble play with a rapport that verges on telepathic.
